ASSCON goes “Innenstadtkriterium” Augsburg – Road bike race in the heart of Augsburg

Once again this year, we sponsored the 2nd “Innenstadtkriterium” a criterium road bike race in Augsburg.

Various classes (from juniors to elite / women and men) raced through Augsburg’s city centre again on Saturday, 20.07.2024. The weather was mostly perfect, with average speeds of over 40 km/h around tight bends in the heart of Augsburg. Despite a brief rain shower, the race and the battle for the top places continued.

This year, our head of sales, who was unable to take part last year, was also at the start. With a solid 10th place, he was just able to fulfil the expectations of our Managing Director, Claus Zabel, and so after the race there was a tasty döner kebab for everyone.

There was also something on offer at our stand outside of the racing action. There were cool bells and beach balls. The bells were also expertly assembled.

Once again, it was a great event and we are looking forward to next year.
